Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions

Gold and Silver expeditions, run in Nepal for many years.

We design the route and run the preparation, practice and navigation days, and we look after safety and logistics from start to finish. Seven days of trekking fits the Gold award and six days the Silver.

Assessment stays with your school

Adventure Milestone is not an approved D of E Activity Provider. Assessment, supervision and sign-off are done by your school's own award leader and assessor; we organise everything around them.

Learning beyond the classroom

Adventure activities, cultural programmes and community projects, for young and enquiring minds.

  • Safety first

Experienced guides, instructors and facilitators lead the group at all times, with at least one adult for every eight students. Every leader holds a first aid qualification, and each trip has its own risk assessment and emergency plan.

  • Educational adventures and expeditions

Cycling, hiking, rafting, climbing and abseiling, canyoning, jungle safari, culture tours and homestays, on itineraries shaped to your students and your school.

  • Charity and community projects

Charity treks to Everest Base Camp, Annapurna and Langtang, and time given to schools, orphanages and villages: building, painting, farming and more.

  • Sustainable and ecological tourism

Low impact on the environment and on local cultures, and Leave No Trace on every trip.

Tell us about the group. We'll plan it with you.

Who is coming, when, and what the trip should do for them. We write back with an itinerary and a price, shaped to your students and your school.

We reply from Kathmandu with a costed plan, before you commit to anything.
